目前我女兒在Fryeburg Academy 讀10年級(jí)，并且已付完11年級(jí)全部學(xué)費(fèi)，但是在5月我們?nèi)胰〉妹绹?guó)移民簽證（綠卡及社會(huì)安全卡將于三個(gè)月內(nèi)收到），于是女兒向?qū)W校提出返還3000美元的國(guó)際生費(fèi)用，招生官和學(xué)校作出決定---不退回，理由如下：
Thank you for your email, and I did look into this situation for you on behalf of Jennifer and her family. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the $3,000.00 International Student Fee, as it applies to more benefits then solely her passport and I-20. The whole program of the Center for International Students is something that Jennifer is still accessing and utilizing during her time here. Our website states that this fee covers the following:
· This fee is required of all international students. It covers the intensive and specialized support provided by FA’s Center for International Students: TOEFL preparation and testing, college counseling, and college writing instruction. It also covers, when applicable, ESOL study and the additional administrative assistance required for passport, I-20, and visa management.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions! Thank you in advance for helping us to share this information with the family.

這么早就學(xué)費(fèi)就交齊了其實(shí)不常見(jiàn). 不退理由也牽強(qiáng). 可以繼續(xù)據(jù)理力爭(zhēng), 但說(shuō)到底, 不就3000$么? 心里不痛快下年不捐錢(qián)就平衡了.

大學(xué)顧問(wèn)服務(wù)是每個(gè)學(xué)校必須的， 要不要都有。畢竟背景是國(guó)際生， 他們說(shuō)的也沒(méi)錯(cuò)， 孩子還在那里上學(xué)， 沒(méi)必要為這3000爭(zhēng)， 不捐款就是了。

可以詢(xún)問(wèn)學(xué)校，在取得綠卡的情況下孩子是否可以轉(zhuǎn)為本國(guó)生源以及流程如何，明確告知學(xué)校你們不再需要學(xué)校為孩子提供國(guó)際生方面的服務(wù)，家長(zhǎng)親自溝通一下吧，也許孩子沒(méi)有講清楚你們目前的情況。

FA不是很強(qiáng)的學(xué)校。有綠卡，不妨找一個(gè)好的公立中學(xué)，入讀公校，學(xué)費(fèi)也免了。
