At North Country School, we believe that all students should be able to participate in everything we offer. Therefore, we have adopted a comprehensive tuition model that greatly reduces the amount of extra fees that we ask families to pay throughout the year.

In addition to providing excellent classroom instruction, as well as housing and farm-to-table meals, our comprehensive tuition includes all of the following: weekend and residential life activities, field trips, professional ski/snowboard instruction, lift tickets to Whiteface Mountain, horseback riding, private music lessons, books and school supplies, laundry services, athletics, access to our on-campus nurses and counselors, art supplies, technology fees, school-assigned Chromebook, and use of specialized outdoor gear (rock climbing equipment, ice skates, cross-country skis, etc). Please note, all financial aid applications are due on February 1, 2024, so we encourage all families to file their tax returns as early as possible.

Domestic Students Tuition

Domestic 5-Day Boarding Students: $59,500

Due to a deeply held belief in the value of a diverse community, North Country School offers a robust financial aid program. In a given year, approximately 35% of our students receive aid. Need-based financial support is funded by North Country School’s private endowment and generous donations from alumni, families, and friends of the school. While North Country School’s funds are made available to as many qualified students as possible, we cannot always accommodate all of a family’s needs. Please note, all financial aid applications are due on February 1, 2024, so we encourage all families to file their tax returns as early as possible.

TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID:

We deeply value having a diverse community here at North Country School. An important piece of making that possible is our robust financial aid program. In a given year, approximately 35% of our students receive aid. Need-based financial support is funded by our private endowment and generous donations from alumni, families, and friends of the school. While funds are made available to as many qualified students as possible, we cannot always accommodate all of a family’s needs.

How to Apply by our deadline of February 1, 2024:

  1. ?To get started, head to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere on your phone or tablet. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time.
  2. Once you have completed your application, you’ll be asked to pay a $60 fee in order to submit your application. (Please note: You can share your Clarity Application with any additional schools that accept the Application for no additional charge.
