Maui Preparatory Academy位于夏威夷州的毛伊島，有著延綿的山和海、熱帶雨林、沙灘和礁石，毛伊島預(yù)備中學(xué)為學(xué)生提供豐富的資源和令人向往的學(xué)校環(huán)境。 學(xué)校特色： 1）全美罕見的一所與美國多所大學(xué)有“保證入學(xué)”協(xié)議的高中：學(xué)校與美國多所大學(xué)簽署了合作協(xié)議，國際學(xué)生在毛伊預(yù)備學(xué)院讀滿兩年，可以保證入學(xué)美國大學(xué)，國際學(xué)生100%入讀四年制大學(xué)； 2）特色課程包括海洋科學(xué)，工程學(xué)，以及其他科學(xué)項目非常強(qiáng)； 3）獨具特色的海洋運動，比如沖浪，學(xué)校每年沖浪項目都會參加比賽并獲獎； 4）天文學(xué)：與本地天文機(jī)構(gòu)合作指導(dǎo)學(xué)生利用高端望遠(yuǎn)鏡和成像設(shè)備觀察研究日間和夜間天空； 5）大學(xué)合作提供大學(xué)學(xué)分課程：與夏威夷大學(xué)毛伊學(xué)院合作商業(yè)市場，網(wǎng)絡(luò)安全，以及數(shù)字媒體課程；

Because Maui Prep is such a small school, the student to teacher ratio is very low. This makes it much easier for the teachers to make sure that each and every student not only understands the material, but retains the information. Teachers also are willing to schedule times out of school, during their free time, to assist students in their academic studies. this has been one of my most valuable resources in all of my years at Maui Prep. Teachers are lenient, yet strict enough to ensure that students do not misbehave and stay on task during class time. The workload can sometimes overbearing, but as I stated before, teachers are lenient, and they are willing to extend deadlines that are within reason. I have learned a lot from my experience at this school, and I have absolutely no regrets, whatsoever. I definitely recommend this school. The dormitories are probably around a 7 out of 10 due to the absence of A/C, slightly lower than average internet speed, and the quality of the bed mattresses, though if you like, you are allowed to purchase your own accessories for your bed to better suit your needs. During the Spring and Summer time, temperatures can get pretty high, and since the humidity is so in Hawaii, it makes it even worse, but the heat and humidity is very easily remedied with a fan. Although the dormitory itself is a 7 out of 10, the community of the dorms is extremely welcoming, so that brings up the scoring to an 8 out of 10. The school campus is about a 5 minute drive from the dormitory, so it is in very close proximity. There is also two bus stops located on either side of the dorm, each of them about a 2 minute walk away, so transportation is easily accessible. There is a private beach just 15 meters away, and there are various food establishments within walking distance form the dorm. The school facilities, though they are few, are quite nice. There is a plethora of solar panels on each building, so we are running off of mostly renewable energy. There is a private field that school has named "Shoemaker Field", in honor of Scott Shoemaker, who worked many long and hard days to ensure that the field was top notch. We use that field for various school activities. We, unfortunately, do not have a gym building, nor do we have a performance hall, but we do most of our performances underneath a large tent, which the school has named the "Pueo Playhouse", named after the school mascot, "Pono the Pueo". Overall, this is a very good school. I have learned so much from all my teachers here, and I encourage anyone to attend Maui Prep. It really is a life changing experience.
