Tuition & Financial Aid
Annual boarding tuition covers instruction, housing, all meals in the dining room, health and wellness center services, use of athletic facilities, access to the library, and admission to all school concerts, assemblies, and athletic competitions. Day student tuition covers all of the above with the exception of housing and some meals. The annual tuition does not include optional off-campus and weekend activities, nor the required school uniform. Books, athletic equipment, and special services (e.g., private music lessons) are billed separately.

NOTE: Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, tuition amounts listed above include the annual set-up fee for the student’s online tuition management account, fees for required programs such as Membean Personalized Vocabulary Instruction, school day lunch for all students, additional meals (breakfast/brunch/dinner) for boarding students based on boarding option selected, and unlimited use of laundry facilities for boarding students. Need-based Financial Aid
Investing in your daughter's future through education is crucial. Linden Hall is dedicated to making this education accessible with need-based financial aid for families who cannot afford tuition.
Financial aid is renewable yearly for families demonstrating need via the application process. All families, regardless of citizenship, can apply. Our process fairly considers each family's situation to determine their ability to pay.
All parents/guardians must apply online via School and Student Services (SSS) when applying for admission. Students accepted without financial aid cannot receive it later unless there are significant, unexpected financial changes (e.g., death, job loss, emergency).
Our largest aid packages, up to 90% of tuition, are awarded during the Priority Admission round and are highly competitive. Remaining aid is distributed from March on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need over 50% tuition aid and missed the Priority deadline, contact the Admission Office before applying to check availability.

Merit Scholarships
Linden Hall is pleased to offer merit scholarships of up to 25% of tuition to top applicants, regardless of financial need. Merit scholarships recognize truly outstanding performance by incoming students inside and outside of the classroom. Please view our full merit scholarship policy for award amounts and eligibility criteria.
Most scholarships are awarded to those who complete their application by January 15 for Priority Admission. Any remaining merit scholarships, if any, are awarded on a rolling basis beginning in March.

Other Sources of Assistance
Sibling Discounts
For families who have more than one student enrolled at Linden Hall, we are pleased to offer a sibling discount. Families are eligible for a sibling discount as long as they have two (2) or more children enrolled at the same time.
- Second student attending at the same time: 10% discount
- Third student attending at the same time: 15% discount
- Fourth student attending at the same time: 20% discount
Sibling discounts are automatically applied on enrollment agreements. If a sibling does not start the school year, any remaining siblings may forfeit their discounts.
Referral Discounts for New Families
New families may be eligible for a one-time tuition credit in the amounts listed below, if they are referred by a member of the Linden Hall community via our online referral form. The referral must be completed before the student is offered admission to Linden Hall in order for a new family to be eligible for a referral credit, and will not be applied retroactively.
- Day student: $750 one-time tuition credit
- Boarding student: $1,500 one-time tuition credit
Returning or existing families are not eligible for a referral discount; families who have, or have had previously, a student enrolled at Linden Hall will not be considered to be “referred” to Linden Hall. Read the full referral policy.
Referral Discounts for Current Families
Currently enrolled students may be eligible for a one-time tuition credit in the amounts listed below if they refer a new family to Linden Hall. The applying student must list the current student/family in the space provided on their application.
- Referring a new Day student: $750 one-time tuition credit
- Referring a new Boarding student: $1,500 one-time tuition credit

Outside Scholarships and Other Financial Assistance
Families sometimes ask us about other scholarship or grant opportunities. Linden Hall does not maintain a list of outside scholarships or loan providers, nor do we recommend any particular databases or organizations. However, one place families may wish to start their search is with School and Student Services (SSS), the financial aid management service that Linden Hall uses to analyze and process need-based financial aid applications. SSS lists some organizations and search strategies for outside financial support on their website. Please note that Linden Hall does not provide or offer educational loans as part of our financial assistance program, and all of our support is grant money that does not need to be repaid to the school.
Payment Plans
Some families may qualify for a payment plan and may be offered a payment plan automatically as part of their enrollment agreement. Our payment plans do not include fees or interest. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about payment plans.

*Required for families without adequate coverage already. All students must have medical insurance prior to arrival, and insurance is not included in the cost of tuition. Families can pursue their own options, but the insurance must be in English to be accepted in the Lititz area. For all students residing outside of the United States, we require GeoBlue International Health Insurance, which is a plan sold in collaboration with Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Plan details and options will be provided to all enrolling students by the Office of Student Life over the summer.

Military Discount
We are excited to announce that, beginning in the 2025–2026 school year, Linden Hall will offer a 20% tuition discount to students whose parents or guardians are active or former members of the military. This discount will be applied to the gross tuition cost.
This decision reflects our deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by military families and is our way of saying “thank you” to those who have served or continue to serve our country. We are honored to support your dedication and service by offering this tuition reduction.
To take advantage of the military discount, we ask eligible families to provide proof of current or former military status. Acceptable forms of documentation include:
